The LWSD Draft Budget Summary is available for public review. Public comment will be accepted at a public hearing on August 10.
Draft Budget Summary 2009-2010
The draft budget summary was presented to the school board at the June 22, 2009 meeting. A public hearing will take place on August 10, 2009. The community is invited to review the draft budget summary and provide their input at the hearing.

Initiative 728

Budget Decision Screen
In 2006, a community/school district committee developed a budget screen to help guide budget making decisions. The budget decision screen is a set of statements that express specific priorities such as "Ensure budget decisions do not compromise the safety and security of students and staff." This screen has been used ever since as the district has created the yearly budget.
