With respect to treatment of students, the CEO shall not cause or allow conditions, procedures, actions or decisions which are unlawful, unethical, unsafe, disrespectful, unnecessarily disruptive, undignified or in violation of Board policy.

Accordingly, the CEO may not:

  1. Fail to assure a climate that is characterized by support and encouragement for high achievement.
  2. Permit the instructional time provided for students during the academic day to be interrupted by unnecessary intrusions or the scheduling of activities that can be scheduled during other times.
  3. Tolerate any behaviors, actions or attitudes by adults who have contact with students that hinder the academic performance of students.
