Home-Hospital Instruction
Any child of public school age and enrolled in a public school and unable
to attend school because of a limiting physical disability so certified
by a medical doctor shall be eligible to receive home or hospital instruction.
Children who are absent from school ten days or more or who are known
to be unable to attend school for a period of three weeks should be reported
to the principal. The principal and the nurse shall establish the feasibility
of requesting home tutoring.
All requests for services of the home tutor shall be cleared through
special services.
