An accredited school is a public or an approved private school that meets all statutory provisions for schools in the state of Washington and all regulations established by the State Board of Education.

It shall be the aim of the Board of Directors to maintain the current high quality of education in the Lake Washington schools, and to seek the highest status of membership for the high school in the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges (NWASC).
